ACHP

The Absorption-Compression Heat Pump (ACHP) combines the advantages of an absorption process with those of mechanical vapor compression in a highly efficient system.

By combining our ACHP technology with Howden’s oil-free screw compressors, we have created a globally unique solution that delivers outstanding efficiency, maximum reliability, and completely oil-free operation.

  • High coefficients of performance (COP) through optimal thermodynamic process integration
  • Heat sink temperatures exceeding 150 °C for industrial process heat applications
  • Temperature lifts of more than 75 K within a single system
  • Moderate operating pressures, typically below 25 bar, despite high outlet temperatures
  • Flexible adjustment of heat sink temperatures by varying the ammonia concentration
  • Natural working fluid with GWP = 0 and ODP = 0 (ammonia/water)
  • Heating capacities ranging from 0.5 to 9.4 MWth in a single unit

MVR

With tailor-made MVR systems, we recover and reuse low-pressure steam and process vapors.
